ELF Nail Polish Nude, Mint Cream, Lilac & Desert Haze

ELF Nail Polish Nude, Mint Cream, Lilac & Desert Haze

I rediscovered nail polish the last months! I didn’t use nail polish for like a half year, can you imagine that? because I can’t, but I’m getting really happy again with a lovely color on my nails. I received some beautiful colors from the cruelty free make-up brand ELF!

I have chosen for these 4 colors: a old pink color, a lilac color, a mint green color and a nude/light brown color. I’ve chosen colors I really think they are beautiful and I would love to wear them on my nails. I’m already in love with these colors!

I still think the colors are amazing, but I think the ‘nude’ color isn’t really nude, but more pink. I think the last color is more a nude color, but maybe too brownish to call it a nude one. To continue this review I need to start with saying my feeling about this nail polish isn’t good, but also not bad. I think Lilac and Desert Haze are the best of the 4 nail polishes. These nail polishes are easy to add, drying really fast, cover really well (2 layers) and I had for one week Desert Haze on my nails and after 6 days it still looked amazingly perfect. Since day 7 there was only one nail that looked a little bit ugly. So let’s say it will stay perfectly for a week, that’s amazing right? but.. I’m not so happy about Nude and Mint Cream. The colors are beautiful, that makes it so sad that they aren’t so good. You already see when you open the nail polish bottle and you take the brush it looks really thick and that’s really annoying with applying on your nails. It also would make it looks really ugly, it isn’t that bad on the pictures, but in real it didn’t look so lovely. I don’t want to say everything about those 2 nail polishes are bad, but applying it on your nails is a nightmare. They still cover really well, but if a nail polish doesn’t apply easily that’s not a good thing. My feeling about those nail polishes are double, I just think that some are amazing and some aren’t that good. So I’m not extremely enthusiastic, but I’m just happy with Lilac and Desert Haze!
